Trainer for Braces 2 - T4B2

Corrects arch form during braces treatment 

The Trainer for Braces 2 (T4B2) shares many features common in with the T4B to improve the comfort and effectiveness of braces, while the firmer construction and high sides make it ideal for cases where upper jaw development is required. It's also suitable for Class II correction in conjunction with fixed orthodontics.

The T4B2 protects the soft tissue inside the mouth (lips and cheeks) from irritation by brackets and wire—a major cause of discomfort in the initial stages of orthodontics. In addition, the T4B2 assists in the correction of myofunctional habits that cause the teeth and jaws to develop incorrectly. These include myofunctional habits such as tongue thrusting, incorrect swallowing, and mouth breathing. This improves the effectiveness and stability of orthodontic treatment.

The T4B is NOT a mouthguard. For sports protection, ask your orthodontist for a Powrgard® 4-Braces mouthguard.

T4B2 Design Features

The design features of the T4B2 are ideally suited for improving comfort and stability of treatment with braces or aligners in the mixed to permanent dentition, while also helping to correct breathing and soft tissue dysfunctions, the root causes of malocclusion.

Directions for Use

The T4B2 is to be used for one hour each day, plus overnight while sleeping.

Cleaning the T4B2

The Trainer appliance should be cleaned under warm running water every time the patient removes it from their mouth.
Use Myoclean™ tablets to thoroughly clean twice a week. Myoclean™ is the recommended cleaning agent for all MRC appliances.
